Alissa has years of experience working in the preventative mental health space, running programs, workshops and events encouraging people to support their mental health through movement, creativity, breathwork and connection with others. As a founder of a women's mental health community, Alissa has a special interest in working with women to build self esteem and uses a person-centred approach to help clients achieve their desired mental health outcomes. Alissa works with a holistic approach to mental health support, using different counselling modalities to find peace and balance within the body and mind.
As a counsellor in training, Alissa will work with you to achieve your therapy goals using modernised therapeutic models like emotion focused therapy (including EFT Tapping), solution focused therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
