Kira is a student counsellor currently completing her Master of Counselling at Edith Cowan University. She holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and brings therapeutic experience working with clients of all ages. In her current role as a recovery support worker, Kira supports individuals experiencing mental health challenges to pursue goals that are meaningful to them.

Kira works from a person-centred perspective, fostering an environment of acceptance, authenticity, and genuine connection. She values each client’s autonomy and innate capacity for growth, recognising that individuals are the experts in their own lives. Her approach is both trauma-informed and strengths-based, focusing on what matters most to clients and helping them align their decisions with their personal values.

Kira will work alongside you to explore your thoughts and feelings, supporting you as you move toward positive change. She has a particular interest in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and tailors her approach to suit each client’s unique needs. Kira is passionate about building collaborative, respectful relationships that empower clients in their therapeutic journey.
