Lauren is a registered counsellor who has experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. Lauren completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from MacEwan University in Canada and a Master of Counselling at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Lauren has experience working with clients in both schools as well as individuals within the community. Lauren works empathetically and non-judgementally with each individual client’s needs to make them feel comfortable and at ease, meeting them where they are and supporting them to reach their potential.
Lauren works with evidence-based treatments to help clients with a range of presenting difficulties such as:

Lauren adapts each session for the client and works with mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy, arts and expressive therapies, cognitive behavioural methods, strengths-based, emotion-focused, and client-centred approaches. She is passionate about collaborating with the client, respecting the client’s autonomy and increasing self-efficacy.
