Maddison is a dedicated and compassionate counsellor who brings warmth, curiosity, and thoughtful presence into her work. She offers a space where clients can slow down, breathe, and explore their experiences with clarity and support, walking alongside them with care through both challenging seasons and periods of reflection and growth.
Her approach is grounded in genuine connection, blending evidence-based frameworks with intuitive, holistic practices to meet clients exactly where they are. Drawing from Person-Centred, Narrative, Solution-Focused, and Internal Family Systems therapies, alongside somatic and Polyvagal principles, Maddison supports clients to understand their stories and move through life with greater clarity and ease.
Beyond her formal training, Maddison’s background has shaped her in ways that deeply inform her work as a counsellor. Her experience as a recording artist fostered a strong appreciation for creativity, self-expression, and storytelling as pathways to healing and connection. Years as a Pilates instructor strengthened her understanding of the mind–body connection, nervous system regulation, and the value of steady, attuned presence. As a mother, Maddison also brings lived insight into the identity shifts and emotional demands that often accompany major life transitions, and how these changes can shape overall wellbeing.
Maddison has experience supporting individuals through a wide range of life experiences, and you’re welcome to bring whatever feels important or heavy for you right now. She is particularly drawn to working with perinatal mental health, relationships, domestic and family violence support, trauma, grief and loss, suicidal ideation, anxiety, and the everyday challenges that come with being human.
At the heart of Maddison’s work is the belief that healing begins where connection flows - through safety, compassion, and gentle curiosity. You don’t need the right words or a perfectly formed story; just a willingness to begin where you are.
“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we’ll ever do.”
- Brene Brown
“There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.”
- Leonard Cohen
